Biography Teddy Geiger

John Theodore Geiger II
September 16, 1988
Upstate New York
He had always had a gift for music. He began playing the guitar at the age of six or seven and was composing and writing music on the piano by the age of eight. He was playing guitar and trombone by the time he was eleven. What is even more amazing is that he is self-taught. [Note: When he was really young, he would go down into his grandfather’s basement and start playing around with the guitars with his cousin. Eventually, his grandfather gave the guitars to them, and the rest is history.] He did inherit good music genes from his two grandfathers. One played the trombone and the other plays piano and arranges music.

Biography 50 CENT

Curtis James Jackson
July 6, 1975
Queens, New York
50 Cent (a.k.a. Fifty or Fiddy as pronounced in African American Vernacular English, born Curtis Jackson on July 6, 1976 in Queens, New York), is a popular African American hip-hop artist. Once almost unknown outside his hometown of southside Jamaica, Queens, he is currently signed to Eminem’s record label Shady Records and Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment. The rapper, who was the first to sign to Shady Records, was scouted before knowing Eminem. Eminem first encountered 50 Cent with MTV News reporter Sway Calloway; Eminem apparently had not heard any of 50 Cent’s performances before seeing him in person. He appeared on the 8 Mile soundtrack with an accompanying song and video (”Wanksta”) that immediately went into heavy rotation on BET, MTV, and radio stations across the country. In the opinion of many observers his continued success seems guaranteed by his large underground fanbase and the street credibility he has gained by appearing on almost every major mix tape sold in New York in the past few years.

Biography Sting

After disbanding the Police at the peak of their popularity in 1984, Sting quickly established himself as a
viable solo artist, one obsessed with expanding the boundaries of pop music. Sting incorporated
heavy elements of jazz, classical, and worldbeat into his music, writing lyrics that were literate and self-consciously meaningful, and he was never afraid to emphasize this fact in the press. For such unabashed ambition, he was equally loved and reviled, with supporters believing that he was at the forefront of literate, intelligent rock and his critics finding his entire body of work pompous. Either way, Sting remained one of pop’s biggest superstars for the first ten years of his solo career, before his record sales began to slip.

Biography John Lennon

Born
October 9, 1940
John Winston Lennon
Assassinated
December 8, 1980
John Winston Ono Lennon
Family History And Early Years Of John Winston Lennon
John Winston Ono Lennon has been exhumed in print more than any other popular musical figure, including the late Elvis Presley, of whom Lennon said that he “died when he went into the army”. Such was the cutting wit of a deeply loved and sadly missed giant of the twentieth century. As a member of the world’s most successful group ever, he changed lives, mostly for the better. Following the painful collapse of The Beatles, he came out a wiser but angrier person. Together with his wife Yoko Ono, he attempted to transform the world through non-musical means.
