Despite being named in four categories, Shakira left with just one - best choreography for Hips Don’t Lie.

Red Hot Chili Peppers were flattered to received seven nominations, but had to make do with winning one, for Dani California which topped best art direction.

Over 40 million people voted for the Viewer’s choice award, which was proudly won by Fall Out Boy and Dance, Dance.
